i carry my folio in a brown paper bag.
it wreaks of day-old cigarette smoke and booze.
i call it Julio.
sometimes we play in the park for hours. i throw him bones but he refuses to fetch. so i fetch the bone and bring it back to Julio.
Julio loves you. Sometimes he tells me to burn things.

I have my favorites printed out 5x8 on thick stock and matte laminated so they are like cards.
seems like people enjoy playing with them.
I cart them around in a simple leather case.

I am thinking of getting this pina cover:

I am using it to show my new bw photos. I guess I will get the portrait version and just have the landscape photos in their own section and you would have to turn the book.
Does anyone think it would be weird to have to carry 2 seperate books (landscape and portrait) to show your photos?
I really need the adhesive strips. As of now I take the photos out of the plastic to show them. Even if you hold the book to reduce glare it still takes a lot away from the image.

an A3 archive box
laid out pages of work printed on A3, flush mounted on 2mm board.
insert into acetate sleeves
no binder
nice and simple, easy to update, no page turning.

for those who have cards or paper spray-mounted on thick stock held in a box -
doesn't you wok get jostled around in there? do you find that when you open the box to show someone, they're lying out all over the place?
