Some specific questions:
Do you think it's a bad idea to use a signature for security reasons?
Do you think satin cards would be a good option?
Could I get a light grey like that printed over a dark gray stock?
I haven't done much print so I'm not exaclty sure on the best printing methods.

I like the signature element of the card. Did u explore having the signature bleed off the edges? Might look cool. I think a small amount of color could add to it. Try orange.

I like #3 the best. I think it only benefits you to have your phone number on there.
I would get that silver printed up in metallic ink......or foil stamped if you can afford it. Are you planning on putting anything on the other side?

Thanks k0na.
Another question:
Do you think it is better when the name is slightly different to differentiate it from the rest of the card? I thought adding the phone number broke up the balance but having the name lighter seems to restore that a bit.

I'm not sure about the other side yet. I want to use it though. I was thinking the same signature smaller and darker in the middle with the back being a lighter gray. That may be too repetitive though. I'll have to think about it.

overall nice design, i like #3
somewhere you need to have your telephone on there, design wise, the left column should be longer than a right column... so you have a bit of a challenge. i might take konas idea and print something on the back... but overall tone on tone is haute. good job.

I sort of like this idea k0na mentioned:
"on the back is his signature, front is info"

great idea. 3 is cool
Think I might have to make a b card for myself also. I've been getting too much local freelance not to.
Also here's a good cheapo printer that a friend told me about http://www.overnightprints.com/

satin cards are fantastic.
i have had them for the past 2 versions of my cards and people really love them.
they are way more durable too!

its DINtastic
no 3 with a heavier weight on your name

Do you think the small signature on the back I mentioned would be redundant?

a matte gray foil stamp would be sweet. + embossing the signature. would be spensive though

It gotta be printet in pantones – right?

I am pretty clueless as to the best way to print it. Is it possible to get a dark gray stock and print a light gray pantone over it. I like to foil idea too. I'm going to look into that.

how about debossing the logo, and then laminating the opposite side with the same paper so that the debossing doesn't show up on the opposite side. It's a subtle but very classy effect.
