have too. so strange as thought was a freak then a friend told me he had this happen too - and now you guys.
sometimes i hear creepy voices saying things which further forces the panic to wake up. and is normally a real cliche hollywood style wake up where i end sitting upright in bed gasping for air.

All y'all crazy.

Just kidding - but I've never even heard of something like that! I have had some INSANE dreams...and I mean insane, lucid dreams included, but never something where I was actually awake and really couldn't move. I'm pretty convinced I would also shit my bed if that happened.

ugh... just happened again. nowadays i haven't been able to sleep much (due to freelance) so have been snatching an hour of naptime during lunch.
invariably get those sleep paralysis attacks.
different people discovering my sleep location this time. sigh. sleeping on my side, as prescribed in one of the sites, didn't work.

I have a recurring experience of this too. I wake up staring at a tall figure stannding by my bed. It lasts just a moment and is gone. Scares the shit out of me every time.

i feel a little better knowing that some of you folks have it worse.
these days i don't panic and just wait for the feeling to pass.

My friend said he hallucinates about figures walking toward his bed. One day he woke up and saw a hole in the wall, then remembered kicking at these figures the night before and hitting the wall.
