New job

So here I am in a tinted glass room (sounds fancier than it is) overlooking the department I am supposed to inspire and lead. Feels weird to have a job after a year of enjoyment, travel, house building and racing.
Today is my first day and throughout the day I have made a few observations:
- There are no hot chicks, only semi-cute I-would's
- There is low or very little moral
- When the printer runs out of paper = chaos
- The cleaning lady smells of 2 months old sweat
- The entire staff runs OS9 and have no or very little knowledge about technology
- The tech guy who set up my connection commented on my cologne as he was leaning over my desk fiddling with cables.I got a gigantic stack of papers on my desk including business plans, ISO-certificates and budget plans due tomorrow so that I can get a better overview of the business. Truth is, I barely know what goes on out there. All I know is that I am sitting here on my first day at a media agency doing god-knows-what this headhunter thought I was right for. When is a good time to leave on the first day anyway?

haha, started a new job about 3 weeks ago, first two weeks was on NT all day, didn't have much to do while between projects..

I'm maintaining an internal website that's really sad in appearance. Anything I do is an improvement.

I decided I should give this a shot, I could always quit if it gets too boring. It's a very grown-up type job, paperwork, client meetings, excel files and such. They have nice benefits though - i booked the ski house 20 minutes after I walked in the door!

I was also on NT every second during the first 2 weeks of my job here....and I've only been here for a little over 2 months.

this is my last week at my job. its the easiest job in the world but i just couldnt stand doing nothing all day. i wanna feel important again.
