I know an ex forces guy working for a private security firm running the gauntlet in Bagdad & even he doesn't earn £700 a day...

I do work for my parents business (they're Property Developers) What would you suggest charging them hourly?
There is always work on, eg. brochures, websites, adverts, presentations and the odd DVD showreel.
Do you think £20 an hr is reasonable considering they are family?

sod it.. go for 30. & make really good job of eveything you do for them.

I agree with you Vespa, the more boring the work the more you can charge.
700 a day in insanity. Hook me up!!!
Dancer: Ido run an agency (of sorts) but I'm dipping back into the London mix for a while...

Alternatively, go for £25 and not give a sh8t!

I know that SAP specialtists can get 1100 Euros per day....but it looks like servely mind numbing stuff.
depends what flicks yr switch and how much of a slave to money you are.

Was thinking of uping the hourly charge to £25 actually.
Think its still too reasonable as I know that if she went to a full blown agency or design studio they'd be charged £40 + an hr.
Aint fair. lol
Though the budgets are great and me Mam loves the sexy paper stocks I use. So creatively its sound.

I never, ever got the same rate for freelancing except when I was going through aquent - and then it was 25 squid an hour.
When I was on my lonesome I could get maybe 30-40, and when I was doing fucking banners for a few months I got 50 and hour working for 3 days a week

How does hourly work - do you quote them how long it will probably take and keep it close to that?
