My situation: First time iPod owner, long time Mac user; extremely dissapointed with Apple's provided headphones?
Your mission: Suggestions, first-hand experiences, recommendations.
Earbud style preferred, but open to suggestions in the 0-$150 mark.

Anyone who doesn't tear the stock earbuds in half right after opening the box is an idiot. Luckily, it seems like you are doing this, so good for you!
Go here, buy these, don't worry about them looking odd on your head. The sound is fantastic, and while not noise cancelling, they block TONS of sound. I wear them on the subway all the time and it's great to tune the world out.
Sonny Eggo-Pro: $49.99 and a higher end model for $89.99

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD202's. You can pick them up from Amazon for around 20 bones. Great headphones for a great price.

Hahaha, headphone choice will never be as simple as Mac vs. PC.
