i know plenty of kids that are dissapointed in hiphop, because they never have fully been a part of it
its like having a child, and them not doing what you wanted them too..
so you lost faith in that child
please...i dont care what your resume says, heart is where its at
- kbags0
son, you talk too much shit for no apparent reason
turn NT threads into fights like it's your open season
got all this shit to say but when it matters you're fuckin freezin
you don't know shit about shit, quit frontin', it's displeasin
- mangosnot0
Oh yea I forgot to mention,
I grew up in a neighborhood in Long Island where many hip hop icons came from. Brentwood, L.I.EPMD
Biz Markie
Craig Mack
Kieth Murray (actualy from the next town over)I went to the same high school that these pioneers went to as well, they were a few years ahead of me.
So Stow it, Dhingy.
And don't try and talk like you know about grafitti, son.
Grafitti is not even a part of Hiop Hop culture, It was around long before that, and I am not referencing graf history as far back as cave man day, no. Philidelphia, early- mid 1960'sHip hop took grafitti, son. Don't test me. i feel I have more than earned my right to say what i want abouthip hop.
- kbags0
in all fairness, I was pretty sure grafitti is one of the three core tenets of Hip Hop culture?

like i said, you say what you want, but the minute you say...
hiphop is dead, obviously you are an outsider, and someone who they use to get on...
and are you repeatin my theme, nothing new?

the kids taggin trains and shit
and i aint start nothin w/ nobody, i aint say nothin to mango, i said
if you are telling me hiphop is a dissapointment, its obvious you dont live it,
i dont care what you did in 83 bitch i was just born
whatevers whatever,
evolution only happens in cultures not life

+++++++++++No, My heart will always ALWAYS be in Hip hop,
the REAL DEAL Hip Hop before it was exploited. Not this bullish that we see all over the place now. So go ahead, keep telling yourself your right. Keep talking in metaphors too, that'll work out great fo ya.
- ********0
so whats fake about hiphop then?
exploited?
you're talking about exploitation?
i think you're upset because your career as a dj failed...
stop crying and complaining, hiphop is just as good as its ever been
bitch we in asian b-boyin w/ dinky's people
- kbags0
It's just cultural ebb and flow...
Last year it was punk
this year it is hip hop
And it's getting pretty bad for hip hop now, but that's okay...that fades...it all self-corrects over time
peace and love
- mangosnot0
man, you make me laugh. it is a disapointment to me now. You say whatever YOU want to say. Obviously you were born too late, son. Pssh is all you'll get from me.
Keep rockin your backback, yo. I know where I was annd what I did.
So like I said before, yo- Pssh

thats right
cherish those dreams and memory's,
some things happen once in a lifetime and never come back
sometimes its always there and you are sobbing about how you weren't on vh-1 w/ the rest of the greats...or the fact that no one knows you
stop crying you still aint say what was wrong, so obviously you are blowing smoke
anyway
hiphop is only going to get bigger and take over the world, join or be overthrowed

And your seriously going to tell me that hip hop is NOT EXPLOITED?!?!? Come on man, I saw Katie Kurek (or however you say her name) from the NBC morning show doing a segment on hip hop slang this morning, saying, "if you want to understand your childrens lingo, here's how you can get down, homboy". again-PSSH

yeah yeah... see ya on soundclick son. meh.
I'm glad Jay and Nas are gonna work things out. I mean they're both talented (but Nas>Jay) so some good music will come out of it. But it isn't historic.
Now if Pete Rock produced it, that might be some historic shit. Actually can we just get Nas and PR back together on a track?
