You have to acknowledge what's "not"; even if minimally. You have to at least subconciously recognize what is subpar to even contrast with what is held as the pinnacle example of that genre in your mind.

nothing can stray me away from that, so even the things you see as being sub-par, its more to it

did you know that jean luc godard and francois truffaut were film critics before they changed the industry w/ the french new wave?
did you know that 2/3 of the design firm 2x4 studied art/design criticism before becoming one of the best design firms in the US?
did you know that being a designer has to do as much with critical thinking than it does about creativity?

If you feel I generalized a whole culture by stating my opinion, so be it. If you perceived it as so, then that's how it ends with us in this conversation.
Criticism is a core part of the design industry, and opinions are a huge part of community forums, so these things are pretty much standard around here.

Nor do I appreciate being called a fool. But hey, maybe that's your opinion, and you're entitled to that. However, I do see it as just one of your tactics to pick fights and upset things on here as usual. It was kind of funny to me at first, but now that I have gotten into a debate with you (which was ineveitable) I'm seeing that it's not so funny. But it is impressive how strong you stick to your guns... but I don't break either.

1988+I have 60 crates of records
where the majority is HIP HOP
with tons of funk, soul, rock, reggae, Danchall, erc.+ I opened for many different acts in my city, including, PUblic enemy, the arsonists, Wu Tang clan, DITC, L fudge. Also was a guest dj for KRS ONE.
So SON, before you come out the side of your head like that at someone, make sure you know who you is talking to.
