the over acting killed me.
and when i say overacting i mean they took it to a whole new level.
- mg330
too bad about the overacting.
dopeopope, I'm guessing you're a huge fan of Seven?
- Ramanisky20
damn Dopepope
that shit gave me the chillsQuentin involved .... nice
The problem with scary movies these days is that there are way too many of em
The last 2 I saw were
complete utter ShiteHigh Tension looked very promising in the trailer....
but the storyline with a completely nonsensical twist ending let me downand Undead was just one of the worst looking movies I have ever seen.

of course.
Seven, Silence of the Lambs, Original Texas Chainsaw massacre, even the latest remake was better than Saw 1.
Remember 8MM with Nick cage? Same situation. Great idea with so much potential and it turned into a mess of over acting and nonsense.

the entire audience was laughing really hard durring the 'intense' ending when he finally saws off his foot and cries about his family. his over acting in this scene is second to none. (well maybe some Shatner stuff, but he is king)

I just watched High Tension. I have to say it disturbed me with all the viloence because it was so brutal and pointless. but then the twist ending kinda made the violence 'cartoony'. had they left it alone, and it was just a crazy guy chasing them and then that's it, it would have been pointless, but effective. I liked it, and didn't like it. It was pretty raw tho, for a R movie. Way more raw than Saw.

do the wordds 'fuck no!' mean anything to you?
i fell asleep in the first 1, which i only watched 'cause i put in my netflix months ago, haha
- mg330
forgot about 8mm. That movie is messed up. I always wondered who approved that. It's just so disturbing, nothing redeeming about it all, not even Cage's role as the person trying to find that girl.
It's like why did they have to use such a horrible situation to show someone being a good guy?
- lvl_130
yo mg33, you never answered my question about your friend derren and that photo you posted of him?
does that guy inline? just curious 'cause he looks exactly like (or is) this guy i know.
doesn't matter i guess. i was just curious : )

You're right it would have been waaaaaay more effective with out the idiotic twist ending
Yeah it definately had me at first with the sheer brutality of the killings
I dont understand how the director did'nt realize that the main heroin driving in 2 seperate cars at the same time was impossible ???
But that dude getting his entire block knocked off at the beginnig was a nice touch ;)
- mg330
Don't think I ever saw the question - but to answer it, no, I don't think he rollerblades. He's in Chicago as well.
- lvl_130
okay cool. i knew he was from chicago ('cause i think you mentioned it or something) but that's where this guy i know is from as well.
it's a small world, just maybe not that small : )

thought the first one was ace...maybe i have a bad taste in films
or you do
:)

the blowjob with the severed head scene had me unsettled from that point on. The twist ending, however, had me figuring out what that was all about.
- Ramanisky20
so was that her imaginig getting head from her best friend ???
