Has anyone noticed how frequently R/GA posts various jobs? I know a similar thing with Fantasy Interactive was addressed recently, but does anyone have insight to this? Are they truly not filling them or is the staff turn around that bad?

They are posting the same jobs because they haven't found the right people to fill the positions yet. They are growing...it's not like they fire staff every other week....

RGA has a very high turnover rate. There is a reason for this. I dont want to be to mean, but they workemhard there if you know what i mean.

it's cool here. they do keep you busy, but that just cuts into my NT time and i learn a ton more than i would otherwise. plus we're working on cool stuff; i'm working on http://www.subaru.com amd http://www.moretosee.com which gets translated into like 15 languages or something; great experience that's hard to come by.
Thanks jevad. I've been doing the freelance thing for the last year; i've been able to work at some rad places with rad people, i like it. I Thought RGA was freelance but turns out it's perma - i think i'll stay here for another couple months, the freelance life is good to me.

What's it like to work here? Like how many hours a week do you typically work a week and how is the general atmosphere?

I interviewed there in July. They said they liked my work, but were thinking of specific accounts. They told me to keep in touch. I was pretty psyched because it wreaks of talent in there. The lobby is filled with awards and you know their projects are the best. I think they're growing and just very picky about who they hire.
Also, they hire just about everyone freelance with the opportunity to go full time with insurance after a year. That's why the turnover is higher. Also, I heard it's a bit of a sweat shop.
