just about finished my new site.. all comments warmly welcomed. And yes.. give me a job ;)
- mongo0
would you be interested in a full time job?

looks great! your logo work is really nice. you might want to check your resume link. didn't work for me...

you've got some really nice work. well done.
just an observation - some of the pieces in your design>print section are quite small (the ones with many many pieces).
i really like the joco logo and ad. when you have a moment would you mind coming by our new office and painting our walls? thanks.
=)

Thanks.. as i said some little adjustments still coming.. and YES I would love a full time job.
If you got something in mind.. let me know.

Don't like the site. Why use the tree twice (at all). In fact the whole white on black just doesn't do it for me. I think you would be far better just showing the work on a plain white background and let it do the talking. Oh and preloaders that show no progress get right on my tits. And an about section (if your looking for a job) would help.
I like the work though.

me too

nice work, the background is nice although i think you might be able to use it better and show larger pictures of your work... i take it you want to work in the visual design field, so make your work visual...

skt- You have a point there, but I still think that a site with something more than just works is a bit better. Actually im going to make a plain html site just showing the works also. and once again.. you cant please everyone :)

(Oct 27 05, 07:12)I don't always disagree with that. I just think that your "something more" is way below the standard of the work and cheapens it.

you've got a nice eye for design, and i like the logo and print work. (all the white kids trying to act like hard core gansta's was pretty hilarious though) still nice work, just funny subject matter.
the fact that you're not using one flash movie or a least loading flash movies inside each other bugged me. just use html if that's the case.
- nooner0
you are requiring someone to have a flash player so that the little dots can move on your rollovers.

good work. i like the black.
1. why arn't you loading the movies instead of HTML pages?
2. what screen res are you targetting? doesnt fit on a 1024 X 768 and looks a bit odd on a 1280 X 1024
works fine in IE. not in firefox.

good point aswell.. I started with a bit bigger plans on animations that will be added later, the reason - ran out of time at the moment. maybe gots to make the html version asap. :)

Your work is great. Site needs some help tho.
Everytime I go to a different section, seems like it loads a new HTML page with Flash embedded...but most of the stuff on the page doesn't change....why not just put the nav and BG in one Flash file and navigate within one Flash file instead of seperate html pages...load content in as needed.
Keep the Flash file left aligned to the html page instead of centered...goes with ur layout better.
Kill those nav rollovers...they look amateur..but ur work is definitely not amateur. Add rollovers to subnav.
Invert the colors of the next and prev buttons so they stand out more...I thought it was part of the background illustration and didn't notice that they were nav items at first.
Kill the bubble clouds in the bg.
Change "CUSTOMER" to "CLIENT" or "COMPANY"...customer sounds like I'm at a Best Buy checkout.

i think the html version could be just as cool. you've got some flash in your portfolio, so don't really have to push that for your personal site. i'd use the same elements you have in the current site / ex. colors, tree and mock up a simple html site. unless your driving your flash with xml for easy updating, which it appears your not, then the html site is going to be a much smaller hassel to update. late... good luck and nice work.

Good work!!!

Good points. thanks.. I think Iĺl try to make the html page during weekend.. no need to keep it flash, since I propably cannot do all the stuff I planned on it anytime soon..
