We just bought 2 (as new) mitsubishi diamond 230sb 22 inch CRT for hundred quid, two of those set up as dual display, for two hundred quid, what more do you want, more desk spave yeah, but IMO a better display!
nobody can justify an apple cinema display IMO...

just got the Dell 24" display, about $1,800 less and just as good (just not quite as big)..

I want the 23" display. I think the 30" is too big.
- level20
get the Dell 24", an inch bigger and almost half the price.

I have two side by side for the video editing and they are rad. If a little too big.

I've sat in front of one and can confirm it's too big - overwhelming is the word.
Although it is fun to put it on 640x480 resolution.

why too big? can't you just work in the center of it and ignore thr rest (put your pallets all around)?
don't the dell 24 have the same quality problems as apple 23?
- level20
My Dell 24" doesn't have that color problem the Apple 23" ones do..
- armed_rob0
what is the problem with the 23"?
is the dell screen widescreen 2, puost a link.

nothing beats a apple studio display... working on a mac with a crt or PC flat pannel dosnt compare.....

I had a 30" but found it too big (too far too scan to corners and stuff)... swapped for 23".
26" would be nice.
- kyl30
you could get 6 17" lcds and have a more flexible set up
