I think I remember reading some stuff about this game before and feeling intrigued (especially after these posts).
Anyone remember the PS2 remake of Rygar?
That was pretty aesthetically pleasing.

i loved that game. i still can remember that music!

Yes they did, and I got it and played it straight through until I beat it, haha. I think it was like 2 years ago.
The original Rygar for NES was so tits, I still play it to this day. I wish I could say the same for the PS2 version but I just love NES/SEGA so much better.
... Probably because video games passed me up a long time ago and I still know how to beat all of the games that came out on the earlier systems whilst hammered.

I finished the 6th last night.
Great game. Hope it gets harder, not to brag but since I figured out the first one I’ve found it pretty easy.

my uber nerd/gamer told me I must play this game a few days ago...the last game he told me was a must have was GoW so he's got a pretty good track record...
check out the game review...it looks cool.

cool joe!!!
how big is the game in terms of where you can travel for colossus?
is it open ended? or is it level based? are all the colossus the same strength or is it something else? what i mean is do ou get to fight a certain amount of the collosais before you get to a more improved version or are they all around all the time?
also lets say you battle one of them and decide to leave the fight, and find some herbs or health sprays or what ever it is tthat gains your health back, when you find this one again are they re-generated or do they haqve the battle points or health damage still in the same place you left them??
thanks!

this game is similar to Ico in that there are no items to find, no keys, no health boosters, no new weapons, no power ups. Infact, there's really nothing to do but find the colossus (which gets harder to do for each one) and kill the colossus (which also gets harder). The lizards around the save temples can be killed for a stronger grip, however, but they have to have white tails. You'll know you got the grip increase when you hear a little sound.

I gotta play this game...

i didnt like ico.
does thata mean i wont like colossus?
:)

just subtle similarities really. The game play is pretty new and different from Ico. but as the Colossi are beaten, their locations become more difficult to find and require more and more exploration and climbing and swimming and shit like that.So that is kinda like Ico. Actually Ed, I don't hink you will like it much. but it's very cool. It can also get control-pad-throwingly annoying at times.
