can anyone give me an example of sites that use "jump to" navigation
where the site is one long list of either text or images, and clicking something on the top just jumps to that place on the page? then there is usually a "back to top" link as well?

ahh i see!
most FAQ pages are anchors - a lot of css only sites use this type of nav as well -
as far as GOOD examples (in a design-sense).... hmmm, i'll look around :)
