sort pictures

I have a Folder with tons of pictures and i want to separate the brighter ones from the darker ones.
How can i do this?

put a "B" infront of the bright ones & "D" in front of the dark ones?

Cmon thees are liek 10.000 pics.
I need an application or something that sepperates them into darker ones and brighter ones.
Sth. like a programm where you can select a folder, but filter only the brighter/darker ones, maybe by setting a treshold
