Command + Opt + S ?

Hello,
I should have typed Command+Ctrl+S when restart my Powerbook. I typed Command+Opt+S instead. Black screen and wierd text coming out... How to exit from the black???

my suggestion (which i'm sure you've already tried) is to hit the same key command again to get out.

the black screen apppeared with some texts.... the last sentence is
localhost:/ root#
i think i supposed to type something?

it's properly the unix terminal where you mess with the firmware, try exit, restart or something along those lines.

You are in single user mode, UNIX terminal,
just type in
reboot
and hit enter
this mode is great for repairing your permissions, and all that,. and the key command to get to this set-up on restart is just open apple+S

When you are in single user mode, you can better repair your disc permissions, as you are not logged on as a user, you are in root.
If you want to do this, type this in
/sbin/fsck -yf
and your computer will run a repir cycle, if it finds any errors and repairs them, do it again, and keep doing it until it says everything is fine, and then tyep in reboot.
