aren’t fairytales meant to have SOME sort of supernatural shit going on ? oh wait, that’s creationism!

I like those as well, fate. And I don't know of any "religious" people, personally, who would see those usurped.

How is choice an empty word? It is something that we should be very thankful to have living where we do. You want to take that away? Or just remove choice on issues that you feel you have the answer to?

(Oct 13 05, 05:19)What I mean is where is the choice between a good and a bad school? Why can't we have all good schools.
bot
(Oct 13 05, 05:22)A good school to me might be a bad school to you. That's where choice comes in. "Good" is subjective. Sporting facilities might be important to some and education based on faith to others. Parents should have the right to educate their children as THEY see fit.

so, what kind of school did you go to and:
a) did you turn out ok-ish?
b) did you think Religious studies were a waste of time and would have preferred to have spent that time doing something else.or
c) think we wouldn't be here today without religion but believe that religion needs to be updated because the world is changing?

lol evolution is a religion whilst discipler has no religion, but a “relationship” with jesus!
- discipler0
nah, deep throat. Fairy tales can have purely naturalistic underpinnings too. ;)
...if you asked me.

I forgot that we all have the right to keep our children away from people we don't like. Choice is like always right.

I went to a private Catholic School for 7 years, St. Patricks. It was not overly strict, not anything out of the ordinary. But somewhere around 6th grade, when we started learning about real Science, I woke up.
- discipler0
bot, ultimately what you are saying is that the government should control our children.

I'm black but I don't want to send my child to a black only school

I would say that 90% of people send their kids to private institutions in order to get a solid overall education and discipline. It more or less has nothing to do with science imo.
- discipler0
yeah ok, bot is just stirring up nonsense.

(Oct 13 05, 05:29)As is your choice. What if the government decided that you had to as that was the "right" thing to do?
