i don't recall ever meeting you in person, discipler.
and if i did i'm pretty certain i'd call stupidity if you chose to show it.
- mrdobolina0
you're deluded, discipler if you honestly think that the discovery institute isnt a christian organization.

Ah, the phenomenon of internet anonymity and the confidence it builds in those who may lack it in the real world.

(Oct 13 05, 07:51)hahah that's interesting
NT has morphed into something peculiar

mrdobs, if you look up several posts in this thread, you'll see several research centers and organizations (and the number grows, of course) who support ID (since it's following the science wherever it leads), which I have linked. So, I couldn't care less who allegedly is supporting the Discovery Inst. in particular. I'm honest enough to just want to see the facts. Just the science please. And you miss the fact that those who may be funding an organization are a far cry from the research scientists doing the actual fact finding.

true, jazX. you'll find it everywhere. It would be interesting to be a sociologist who studies the behavior of people on the net.

hey dobs. nice response to my post.
just because you don't believe in god doesn't mean you have to be a complete asshole to everyone.
why don't you have a coke and a smile for fucks sake. you need it.

hahaha scarabin. wow, i hope you don't expect to be taken seriously. Here's a suggestion - learn what each position actually teaches and then you can come back and discuss.
discipler
(Oct 13 05, 07:39)wow, good come back. :/

kona, you never contribute anything in these threads, why post in them?
JazX, ID is all philosophy. If a supernatural "uncaused cause" is deleted from it, it goes away.
it's not science.
- pavlovs_dog0
could we please stay on the bashing religion track, jeez...

I just want facts man, either way. I never said I liked ID. Also, never claimed to be some expert in science, just studied it for a short period of time.
You guys that have participated in these know what I think, there's gotta' be a middle 'gray-area' that exists. I don't think either side is completely right.

dobs, specified complexity in biological machines, the fine tuning of physical laws, and the study of DNA... all philosophy?

(Oct 13 05, 08:05)I fail to see how these independently point to a creator.
- pavlovs_dog0
didn't some find out what cult discipler belonged to?
link?
- discipler0
well, what they do is collectively build a cogent case for a designer. In fact, specified complexity by itself builds a strong case for not only an intelligent agent, but an extremely highly intelligent agent. It's worth at least taking an ojbective look into, dobs.
