The rumor sites were wrong. they said the xps wouldn't drop until Q1 - 06!!!

Not trying to get into a Mac vs PC thing (for the 9 billionth time) but I think most people buy Mac's because they actually work. Personally I commend Mac on leading the innovation and setting the trend(s) in computer design but I could give a shiite how it looks....the thing is....it works and it works on a MUCH more consitent basis than PC.
I started on PC's switched to Mac's about 5 years ago and just started a new job where I am back designing on a PC for the first time in 5 years.....I have had this PC crash more in the 2 months that I've been using it than my Mac has in 5 years....and I'm running the SAME EXACT applications on both systems.
Keep on fooling yourselfs into thinking that PCs are better and that the only reason to buy a Mac is because "its perty". Enjoy your restarts, downtime, reinstalling your OS, reinstalling apps, freezing, etc, etc.
So, ah, ya, I guess I got into a Mac vs PC thing. My bad.
Remember, its always better to be pissed off than pissed on....unless, of course, you are into that sort of thing.

my laptop is dell, running xp pro and it never crashes. not sure what the big deal is, but I dont have a hard-on for dell. I could care less and it was only 900 bucks.
