Well that just proves it then. Bush somehow got so stupified in his college years that he apparently watched the Blues Brothers over and over again and all that stuff is now coming out subliminally...

the public opinion on war in iraq is heavily against him more than any polls would dare to suggest, he uses the GOD card to try and bring round the stupid people of america behind him (even the converted need preaching to when support is dieing), support is fading, time is running out, trust has gone, this is major his last attempt to bring people together for support, all i can say is allah akbar, micheal moore for president!

if bush and co. claim to have a direct line to god, then the recent hurricanes and subsequent destruction should serve as an strong indicator of god's displeasure with this notion.

I still thought it was a sign of god when the space shuttle blew up over Palestine, Texas on the eve of launching the Iraq War. I mean if that's not a message I don't know what is... I don't think Bush picked up on that...

a) First off, the article I quoted was differnet. Apparently the BBC has been getting pressure form the White House to revise the story. The article you pointed to came later in the news cycle.
b) I was just making a humorous allegory to the Frat Boy fave movie - Blues Brothers, considering Bush was an alleged Frat Boy of some note.

in the movie the blues brothers they 'saw the light' and belushi did backflips down the aisle of the church into one massive 20ft. high backflip at the end.
when and only when bush does that will i believe 'he's on a mission from god'
