It makes me very happy to see great Canadian designers with a awesome site that feels very Canadian.
With all the different cultural design styles I like to think that we are starting to achieve our own. With Canada being so multicultural we get influences from all over the world.
Good Work - Motherbrand.
and not one Roots™ logo to be found.
i think the Cancon Chair is my favorite.
Love the Coat Hang, I'd want it built into the wall though.
I like the work, but I have to disagree with the Canadian feel comment. I don't necessarily equate a wood background and silouettes of ducks and deer as solely Canadian. If you took away the maple leaf on the site they could be from Michigan for all we know. It's more of a rustic, hunting theme than "Canadian" don't you think?

do you mean you can recognize some typical canadian clichés here and there on the website? ;)
The premise isn't 'design unique to Canada, with elements seen nowhere else every before'. It's a representation of a particular part of Canadian culture, a part that you may think is wholly irrelevant or utterly dead if you never went to Muskoka (or elsewhere) as a kid.
