the gradient is a nice touch, gives it certain richness. well done.

hey I like that alot, some of the detail may not show up in super small print. Also the use of a gradient in a logo is going to increase the cols of print. but these are just picky detials.

She is having her cards printed on that curious touch paper (that feels like Felt) too so it should be a nice job all round..
Any advice on improving whats here, tigher kerning, spcaing between lines, shite like that, I looked at this sooo long i cant see anything anymore!
- kelpie0
yo! this looks nice mate, I like it with the Futura, the other typeface looked crap to me (no offence). imo Futura always looks better with room to breath so no tightening of the kerning, I'd say. But indeed, what does it look like really wee?
- Kiko0
perhaps increase the space between the two words, just a tad, but I like it like this!

I still don't like the shield. It leaves the mark too detached from the name below. A bit floaty. But the change of font is helping.

dude, once you've got sign off drop me a mail and we can discuss my fee - no hurry like, but we all got bills to pay man, y'know...
;)

In general, the mark and layout looks nice but the small type may be too small depending on your output size. Also, beware the gradient on type that small. It really could end up looking bad due to screening. It's usually best to have 100% coverage of one ink when you are printing process mixes.

maybe move the A away form the R a smidge?
- DavidFelt0
gonna experiment with the best layout when reduced, maybe make the type around 12 point with a small symbol atop it, not sure yet, just fancied a bit of feedback before i got too indepth with it. Ill knock out some ideas of how I can lay it out when at small sizes, bus cards etc.
Thanks a lot for feedback BTW

yeah for sure when its small the second line of text wont be on, its just to show the two typefaces ive chosen so far working together, whats your thoughts on this... Using a modern sans with an old serif?
- dopepope0
It's quite nice.
But the icon is looking like a jet engine turbine.

Yeah I like that. A few coments though (you know me ;)
THe relationship between the mark and the type is off. The nark needs to be bigger. Perhaps do a variation with a bigger mark and the type is on 2 lines. This will help with readability as the N at the end of indian blends too much with INSPIRATIONand scaled down could look like one word.
I still think you caould do a deboss on that mark making it look like a frank stamp.
The shieldshape is still off for me.
Good work though
;)
- DavidFelt0
Thanks Dancer, will do.
When you say, deboss, what you mean?
- Chimp0
Over all I like it. I think your client will be happy.
Yes, two lines for the main head would help it sit better with the mark. The shield gives more of a historical European feel, which again doesn't sit correctly with the idea.
Perhaps ditch the mark and introduce a some stylised dividing lines between the title and address to give more ownership to the logo.
- Chimp0
Much better

Like a stamp.
You know those old school franking machines that stamp an impression on paper of the date/logo.
That circular wheel lands itsef quite nicely

Nice move. Mo' bettah.
