Three weeks ago... when they released the shark hoddie. People started lining up the block at five in the afternoon the day before. People still dig it... and the peoples outside of the bape store don't play.
I own a couple pairs of shoes and some tees... it's just nice to get wild with the colors from time to time... why hate ? don't pay the price.. if you don't think it's worth it.

i was just talkin about Bape with another designer buddy at dinner, though i own a few pairs of kaws Bape shoes, mostly esp. with the tshirts for how sub par the designs are its a ripoff. Some of the hoodies are sorta rad, but not like 700 bucks rad unless you are a rapper, in which case you just look dumb. The whole limited edition approach worked good as shit for nigo tho.

i sold all my bathing ape the week the nyc store opened...
my friends who spent millions on the tees in the stores in japan are still pissed at me...
however the nyc store only sells kicks to tourists!

I agree with most of what's being said here. The store in London is just the same, first thing in the morning on a Saturday there's a queue of people waiting to spend mega-squids on what I consider to be fairly uninspiring designed tees.
