Anyone have a link to a tutorial or customizable .fla file of a preloader that plays a movie clip of your choice while load. And in particluar, the mc play speed matches the download speed.

I think the question was about tutorials.

in the wimbelton example you just have a loadbar behind a tennis ball.
the other just moves a graphic a certain amount depending on the load progress. that shouldn't be too hard to do.

make a movie that's 100 frames long. make sure you stop() the movie from frame 1.
then have the preload script gotoAndStop() according to loaded percentage
