no difference from spiking the trees so when the loggers cut them with chain saws, the chain breaks and kills or cuts limbs off of loggers

the activists didn't put the landmines there.
they have been there for quite some time. before wwII i believe. it just so happens the penguins picked that spot for their little mating ritual.
the habitat is thus protected from humans, and sheep and goats from grazing the area clean.

my response was to dinky. he made the implication.
meaning spikes don't just hapen in trees. activists put them there. the field has been there for 60 years. the activists just got lucky.
