I saw Raekwon and Ghostface in St Louis in like 96(?).

to each his own i guess mike.
i mostly get off on his sincerity.
from child's play:
Guys and girls, y'all remember those days, and sh*t
Girls walk around in school, one ponytail with the beret
Next looking like baby powder, youknowhatImean? Those were the days right there
Boston baked beans, girls come to school with mad candy
YouknowhatImean? You'd just come in school for half days, and all that
Just to see that little girl right there, Go home and think about it, youknowhatImean?May hump the bed sometimes on her, youknowhatImean?

true toni,
I automatically disregard any rapper that says "youknowhatImean?" more than twice in 1 song...
I mean either I do or I don't, asking me repetitively just annoys me...

Man I dig Assassination Day on Ironman:
Splurgin, mergin in the suburbs, using this just like an adverb
Action word, flowing like a blackbird
God came in, aimin like Terry Bradshaw
He hit the crash bar, stay relaxed God, his shit is smashed Pah
You handle this just like algebra, UFO spot 'em like Galaga
Hold on like bullet-proof Acuras
You so fly, yeah right, you want to get me high
Yo Bobby, you hear how I'm shootin it like they blew top snow
You won't play me like your lady
Pay me three-eighty spit it at you like a baby
Final destination Haiti

I'm just playin, I just don't like his voice and delivery. His rhymes are good by modern day standards...

snuggles, do you like anyone from the Wu? I like the RZA the best actually.
- mr_snuggles0
Not really, but as a whole sure, 36 Chambers was really a ground-breaking record at the time it came out. It was so raw and I give them credit for bringin back the DJ. Almost everyone had stopped using scratching in songs and nobody was using DJ's in live shows..
I think if I had to name one member of the Wu that i've always liked it would be Ol Dirty, RIP...
- rockonski0
weed, beer, guns, aids.
all these obstacles.
it's hard to make it nowadays.

i dig "shabazz the disciple" the most.
but thats only because a friend of mine produced some of his tracks.

- mr_snuggles0
I have a shabazz 12" that's wicked, "Crime Saga" some very haunting beats on that joint..
- sureshot0

"death be the penalty" is still my fav tho!
- Sharif0
