lived in the short north for years...I've heard it's changed a lot since the bluejackets came to town.

when i lived there a couple summers ago, short north just seemed like a lot of way to expensive galleries.
i lived on 8th ave.. it was hella dodgy. i got robbed at 4:30 on a sunday afternoon in my apt.

I also lived of East Broad in this kick ass warehouse that is now a recording studio. That was a dodgy neighborhood. We had Boarded up crack house right next to a church right across the street. We used to watch those crackheads roll up and buy out of a broken window.

yeah... that area rules. west of high is kind of ok, the other side is mayhem. my friends had to back their trailer up to my apartment wall when they played a show cuz 10 minutes after they parked, these dudes tried to break in it.
now it's getting gentrified with that new giant movie theater/lofts/mall thing they're building on the edge of campus

yeah very nice space.
i lived there in the summer, so i only know like 3 or 4 people that were in school... one being at CCAD, but she is lame and probably wouldn't get down on projects.
