haha. dude i actually think the same thing.
i know scott personally (scott lucas) and think the same song.
he wrote the song about a mutual friend we have named rita. of course.
the first time i heard the song in concert she was standing next to me. as the music started she cheered and said 'he wrote this for me!'. when the lyrics 'hey rita... they shot you in your face' were sang i grabbed her head and was like 'HOLY FUCKING SHIT YOU WERE SHOT IN THE FACE?!?' and frantically started looking for the scars.
she wasn't amused. with a really mean look on her face she said 'it's HEY RITA, THEY MADE A STATUE OF YOUR FACE... ASSHOLE'.
