vealemobile: what city are you outside of?
Obviously, the bigger, the more accessible it is outside of it. Anywhere outside the cities of Calgary & Edmonton, Alberta don't have it (there's lots of farms etc.)

haha, my first was a US Robotics Courier external modem. it was gigantic... barely fit on the desk.
I have not progressed very far. :(

i remember being jealous of those bastards with 56k

i have broadband at the office, obviously, but have dial-up at home.
i think it's a good thing, actually, for designers/developers to see their work on both speeds. it would be a reality check for most, i think.

Yeah, when I'm working on something for the web it's usually fast as hell because I'm on dial up.
