every director and actor/ess will have their critics, but you can't diss Jackie for picking up where Bruce Lee left off. What Jackie did for martial arts movies is push the envelope with each movie he did. So what if his comedy doesn't appeal to all audiences, at least the guy is STILL actively doing it and learning and making mistakes from each production. I hear he's in talks with the director of HERO and may even team up with Jet Lee if his fight with Donnie Yen in Shanghai Knights is a preview, then Jackie certainly hasn't lost his touch.
I'm not the president of his fan club or anything, but he's more than just a martial arts actor, he's an icon for many and inspiration for many martial arts students.

"Chan said it was "very hard to act" as a solemn general in ancient China who showed very little emotions, but he liked "the challenge.""
He's kidding, right?

Jevad, you've just gone up even further in my estimation. Jackie Chan, early nineties skater teen ... blonde bangs.
Fantastic. I'm getting a copy of that as soon-as!
My fave Jackie movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099…

doesn't anybody remember that Jackie was in Cannonball Run?
Holy Sh*t. Him and the other guy in his car were awesome characters.

Just be grateful that it took him so long to be picked up by Hollywood in a major way, least all those early films are good!

The guy is a fucking legend. Sad news indeed.
And Jevad... ridiculous amounts of respect for appearing in a Jackie Chan film...
...but I think it only fair you put some screenshots so we can see your early 90's fasion victim-hood...!
