every director and actor/ess will have their critics, but you can't diss Jackie for picking up where Bruce Lee left off. What Jackie did for martial arts movies is push the envelope with each movie he did. So what if his comedy doesn't appeal to all audiences, at least the guy is STILL actively doing it and learning and making mistakes from each production. I hear he's in talks with the director of HERO and may even team up with Jet Lee if his fight with Donnie Yen in Shanghai Knights is a preview, then Jackie certainly hasn't lost his touch.
I'm not the president of his fan club or anything, but he's more than just a martial arts actor, he's an icon for many and inspiration for many martial arts students.
