In regards to the Nike site they said:
“This site does a great job addressing skate culture by creating an experience that’s as colorful as it is engaging—and it’s not without a sense of humor.”
Really?? Any skater I know wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of Nike skate shoes. Nike has no idea what skating is about, thats why the site fails for me. Nike and Comm Arts are out of touch in this case.

I don't think they chose badly, but there were no surprises in there at all. I feel like I've seen them all.

Over the years I've seen CommArts pick bullshit after bullshit.
My opinion is that they have no clue whatsover what they're talking about and their "awards" or whateverthefuck they are are absolute bullshit and to be ignored with the utmost zeal.

sorry, that should have been:
ignored and ridiculed and forgotten within an instant because the folks at CommArts obviously don't know how to use email let alone view websites.
Sorry for the mistake.

"Over the years I've seen CommArts pick bullshit after bullshit."
that's a piss easy statement to write. no thought necessary.
what would you have picked?

I usually don't bother with that mag, most of it is boring.
But I will say that I like the Thomas Pfifer site (love his architecture, too).
http://www.tphifer.com/#Would have seen that if not for CommArts. I'll look a little more now.
