Totally agree kona. And especially about the N.O. mayor. Real professional having to be "bleeped" out on national tv. He's right up there with Mr. West.

This is what entertains me... everybody that says "don't play the blame game" just blames somebody other than the president. You're just picking someone else to blame...
That said, even if the local government failed, does that make it ok for the federal government to fail too? If we're gonna stop the blame game, then let's really stop. And look at reality... it didn't have to take so long to get help into the areas impacted. Simple as that.

also, i can bet money on someone posting how bush took funds from the leeve to fund the war. i got it. i saw that. but how many millions upon billions does the gambling industry rake in each year in n.o.? how many millions upon billions does marde gras and other events rake in? all this money the mayor had for the city so it doesn't matter who took what funding away, the leeves have been fucked for 40 years since the category 5 years ago and somehow it's bush's fault. in 40 years at a minimum that's 10 presidents at 4 years per president.

Funny that no one thinks celebrity's have anything to say about politics but then elect Regean, Schwazanegger , Sono Bono, that old dude from Law & Order, and Gopher from the Love Boat.
So what is it? Do we care or not care? And as much of an arrogant prick Sean Penn is, at least he walks the walk of what he talks about - more than many "regular folks" do.

The good comes with the bad. If a celebrity is educated and informed about what the fuck they're talking about and can say it with class hell yes, let them speak. Thousands upon thousands will hear them.
But when a fucking moron comes on and throws the race card it just throws more fuel onto the media driven race stories and it fucks things up. Now all you hear from someone whent they get a mic in front of their face is race.

no. i got it from the mountain bike i used to ride.
when we'd ride in groups i was the only one with a kona (my cousin used to ride for team kona and got me one of their first bikes) and not many of the guys heard of a kona let alone a tweeked 'stinky'.
so they called me kona.
now i hear there is a coffee bean (i tried it, the coffee is GOOD) and also a kona island.
