It doesn't matter how good at something a person can be, if they're an arrogant prick that obviously loves themself - I fucking hate them.
Modesty is massively underated. Winning with dignity is a beautiful thing to see.
Oh, and Warne's face when he was bowled out in the last test was priceless. He just looked like a fat schoolboy that had been played by the captain so everyone could laugh at him.

I disagree.
The english players have said on a number of occasioons that Shane is always the first to congratulate them when he has been on the losing side.
When he bowled Freddie out after a storming century, shane made a point of applauding flintoff as he left the pitch.

i think you are confusing the man's personal issues with his sporting life.
I don't think they are comparible.
I couldn't care less if he loves himself or is a womaniser. That's none of my business.
He is a fantastic sportsman and we all should be grateful for what he gives the game.

I'm not saying he isn't a fantastic bowler - the figures can't be ignored.
But personally I don't separate on field/off field with any sportsman.

i don't like it when sportspeople do dodgy shit just cos so many kids look up to them. but only the serious stuff, like racist attacks (like certain footballers), or playing in countries run by dictators so they'll get lots of cash etc.

Nobody wants the Oz to lose more than me, but Warne is ludicrously talented and as such desrves plenty of respect on the pitch.
I saw the Australians play at Essex a week ago and it was amusing to watch them go for 500+ in a day, but they battered even more the next day when they batted. You can't deny their quality. Fortunately England finally have a team that's good enough to give them a going over
