unfortunately, this sort of thing happens in all too many corporate environments.
start your own company! i did and i take all my own credit for everything i do, unless it sucks then i blame it on the client! :)

if there's money involved you should really speak up, try not to sound bitter, just be reasonable and bargain a little bonus for yourself. it's silly when seniors don't give credit because creative credit is free to give and is a huge motivator.
my producers know i'm a sucker for it so all they have to do is get me drunk and tell me i'm a creative genius and i'll work my arse off for them, gawd i'm so transparent!

in this industry, stuff like that happens all the time. get ready and stand up for yourself. take no bullshit.
