i know some of yours hate full flash screens but i love it ;p. I tried this script but it seems it's not working for me -
Stage.align = "LT";
Stage.scaleMode = "noScale";stageListener = new Object();
stageListener.onResize = function() {
expandTop();
}Stage.addListener(stageListener...
expandTop = function() {
bg_mc._height = Stage.height;
bg_mc._width = Stage.width;
}am i missing something?
- UndoUndo0
expandTOP() should be defined before the listener

this isn't full screen flash btw

like this -
expandTop = function() {
Stage.align = "LT";

stageListener.onResize = function() {
expandTop();
}Stage.addListener(stageListener...
bg_mc._height = Stage.height;
bg_mc._width = Stage.width;
}but it still doesnt work?

that's not fullscreen.
that's full window.
and make sure you embed it the right way in your html file.

you have to make sure you have embedded the flash into yr html properly. check out MM tech notes for that, if you want true full screen use chromless window (stick it into goooogle) but I wouldn't recommend it

got it, cheers dude!

yeah, you need to set height and width in yr embed code to "100%"

now i understand how to do it, anyone know how to do the background stretchable like those websites -

could you just load two moives. one with this code:
Stage.scaleMode = "noScale";
on the first frame. and another with no code. would that work?
you can use this to make it go to the top or centre etc:
Stage.align = "top";
again on the first frame

many thanks ;D

I thought i have sorted it out but it's getting more fuck up for me lol. i tried this script and it wont work on my browser -
stop();
Stage.scaleMode = "noScale";
Stage.align = "TL";
theStageX = Stage.width-bg_mc._width-20;
theStageY = Stage.height-bg_mc._height-20;
stageListener = new Object();
stageListener.onResize = function() {
theStageX = Stage.width-bg_mc._width-00;
theStageY = Stage.height-bg_mc._height-00;
bg_mc._x = theStageX;
bg_mc._y = theStageY;
};
Stage.addListener(stageListener...here's the link -

create an empty _mc..name it name it : bg
drop your image/whateva into it.
drop this code in the first keyframe of your movie:
(the copy/paste thingy might Fck this code tho.)
Stage.scaleMode = "noScale";
Stage.align = "lt";
this.onResize = function()
{
updatestageStuff();
}this.onEnterFrame = function()
{
updateStageStuff();
}Stage.addListener(this);
_global.updateStageStuff = function()
{var sw = Stage.width;
var sh = Stage.height;bg._width = sw;
bg._height = sh;
};
bg.onResize = function() {
this._x = Stage.width - this._width - 50;
this._y = Stage.height - this._height - 50;
}
Stage.addListener(controllo);
MovieClip.prototype.move = function(x,y){
this._x += (x-this._x)/0;
this._y += (y-this._y)/0;
}
