this country really should start putting more loot into renewable energy sources. It is a major cause for many of our problems.
I don't think that can be argued.
It honestly is the only reason we are in the middle east.
It is a major reason why New Orleans is such a lynchpin city,

actually, the notion of country and the concept of a "nation/state" (wouldn't know how to translate it in english) comes from the westfalia treaty, it's about 500 years old.
to my point of view it's doomed to dissapear, thankfully. but if we are not awareof it, it might catch us unprepared with a consequent "clash of civilizations".
