Sure, but that's the reality we live in, you learn to adapt and cope with it and find a way out. If the military works and that's one of your few choices, then, hey, do what you have to do to survive or improve yourself.

it's so incredible that some Americans think this is how the world works, that their society is in this the same as anywhere else.
Well let me tell you this, the amount of money and resources spend on the worlds most powerful killingmachine that claims existence on the protection of a "nation of freedom" (which is a utopia, and far from reality) is absolutely out of balance compared to the efforts that go into a social balance and a healthy society. A society that is not based on mistrust, gun toting, pointing fingers and an absolutely terrible and in any way rejectable gap between the haves and havenots.
i can't believe you always try to be an Even Steven in all of this mess.
To me this is the same as blatant ignorance.

I'm referring to the US Army as whole and getting an education through them.
Don't care about the other stuff. I know the US's foreign policy is bad, but that's the way it is, if your working for their Army then you do what you signed up for

Absolutely nothing wrong with the military. One of the great levellers in US Society - or at least it was. Hope it can still be.
Misusing that great instrument of American democracy is the problem.
