like where the popup appears in relation to 0, 0 on your monitor?
- Engage_London0
say i move a pop up with the mouse... i want to keep a track on where it is on screen
- version30
maybe?
Position:
Type: one of the values below
The position attribute determines where the popup appears relative to the element the user clicked to invoke the popup.about 1/3rd down the page

Can't you do it with LiveConnect?
- cereals0
I would have said live connect would be a better option??

[see mouse position]
I'm not sure if Flash will receive the event immediately using javascript [if that's your objective]
if you want constant tracking, a javascript interval is in order.

[unfortunately] mozilla browsers do not support liveconnnect

also used the rezie in flash which is helpful, and a couter in flash to rather than a counter in javascript

do both of these movies need ot be in the same window...
my stuff is working on a PC but nothing at all on a mac !!! grr!!!

there are a lot cross-browser problems targeting specific ID's in javascript [if that's your problem]
a lot of times, you have to detect the user's browser for the correct synbax... not to mention different usage of the DOM [ie. firefox and empty spaces....]

and the thing is... half these examples... like moock etc... you try them on a mac and they don't even work... what is the point in that!

//at least the code looks prettier.
