Bush should be on the ground in mississippi or louisiana right now, any way you look at it. He is the leader of the fucking country, other Presidents ALWAYS go to the site, immediately after the hurricane.

the response issue lies in the state, moreso than the u.s. government. that is the whole point of state governments. that fema and the fed. governement could do more, i agree, but if there's anyone to get pissed at it is at the local government which sent thousands of people to the superdome where there wasn't even enough toilet paper.
i get the angst against bush, but blaming him is just ignorant.
