I Trumped the Client

Had a meeting last night with a client for whom I was doing a business logo for. I ended up with something really basic after lots of conversation and preliminary sketches, etc.
The guy fancies himself a "knowledgable client" having studied art history sometime in I don't know 1975.
Anyways, i presented him with the design - which was clean, simple and I thought pretty good - he makes all kinds of faces, grabs a pen and some paper and re-sketches it and says "Gee, what took you three weeks to do I just did in five seconds."
Nice. Great.
So I said to him, "Do you know Beethoven's Fifth?"
He stares at me. "Huh?"
"You know, Beethoven's 5th Symphony."
"Oh, sure."
"How does it go?"
He indulges me, "Da Da DA Dum. Dah Dah Dah Duummmm."
I let an awkward silence hang for a sec. Then I said "Pretty simple, no? Even someone without any ability can hum it, right? Took one man to write it and now everyone knows it for centuries."
He pulled out his checkbook...
