If, say, you lose your vision. I mean how can you design if you're blind or nearly blind?
I've been wondering about this for a while. Any of you have any contingency plans or anything?

I've always wondered what would happen if I lost my mouse-hand.
If I lost my vision, I'd probably try to work my new disablility to get into industrial design... go back to school... take a lot of sculpture classes... work EOE to get a product design position. Then I'd design remote controls & end tables.

Damien Hirst woke up one day with the realisation that he only had one pair of eyes. I myself am short-sighted and have always had the concern about opening my eyes one morning to find that I could only see black.
If this were to happen, I'd turn my energies to writing copy, the second career choice i had in mind.

Depressed Homeless Junkie?
I recently lost a little of the hearing in my left ear and it shook me up because regarding eyes and ears I always thought "Well at least I have two." I'm glad I'm not a producer or something because this would make mixing pretty difficult.
So yeah, now I'm paranoid about my eyes. I just wear a welding mask everywhere I go.
