i embedded one font for a dynamic text box. now i've changed my mind. if i switch and embed another one...am i actually embedding two?
- fusionpixel0
no, unless there is 2 different boxes and you have 2 different fonts.
the embeding wont happen until the SWF is compiled (exported) so if you have only 1 font specified, there is nothing to worry about.

If you embed a font, it's downloaded once the user loads the movie. So, you can't go back in time and undownload it.

that's not true, you can go back in time with flash.
no, wait, that's only with Flash MX 1985. It's got the fluxCapacitor() function.
e.g.
fluxCapacitor(){
marty.gotoAndStop(1955);
}

depends if you have embedded the font by making a "new font" in the library and referencing it. if you have you just delete it from the library
