yea gruntt. i'm here a couple hours north of the coast line.
gooze... do not presume to know when there is a lump in my throat.
just because you feel nothing when someone on the other side of the world hurts doesn't mean that some of the rest of us don't.
and as for "putting things into perspective" ... what perspective is that? what insight have you offered? what greater truth are you providing for our betterment? how are you making anyone's life better with your words?

yes i thought it was funny and ironic garretwest. am i huritn gany1, no? am i stomping on their grave, no?

hey fellas. good to see some friendly faces(names) around.
philly is a wreck, but much better than the coast. no gas and food is getting short in supply. my home is intact but my neighbors a few yards away weren't so lucky.
my extra rooms are taken up at the moment, but i dont mind.
thanks for your kind thoughts... and even your prayers. :)it will be an interesting couple of weeks, but things will stabilize to some degree soon enough.

So you thought making fun of people at their worst was funny and ironic?
Are you hurting anyone? Yes, yourself by playing yourself out to be an idiot.

peace everyone.
I am in Atlanta with my family who evacuted new orleans on sunday night. i put up a message board for all of the evacuees of new orleans and the surrounding areas.
this way, we all can post the names and info of the evacuees that we run across in hotels and shelters or what not.
thousands of people are safe but cannot be reached because they have 504 area code cell phones..but i have seen a few of them online.
here is the link. http://pluswars.com/katrina
thanks in advance everyone.
pardon grammar and spelling

Sad thing about Bush is that the city of New Orleans had requested funding for this kind of situation and the Bush Admin. only approved 20%.

same here bio and polaroidman. If either of you are with Bank of America, i can transfer money over to you today.

Quote from fourteen months ago:
“It appears that the money has been moved in the President’s budget to handle homeland security and the war in Iraq, and I suppose that’s the price we pay. Nobody locally is happy that the levees can’t be finished, and we are doing everything we can to make the case that this is a security issue for us.” -- Walter Maestri, [still] emergency management chief for Jefferson Parish, Louisiana; New Orleans Times-Picayune, June 8, 2004
Nice to know Bush did a fly over NOLA today and was horrified. Great work, Mr. President!
