Ok, im going to smack down the pounds for a PSP tomorrow when they come out. And probably GT4 PSP if it's out too.
They will probably be sold out everywhere, so does anyone have some insider tips as to who would have some in stock around oxford/piccadilly/tot court rd tomorrow?

The DS just seems poorly built. I had a look at one the other day and it's just not sexy. Which counts.
Also I want to play movies on it, dual screens won't help me there. And GT4 too. and GTA.
I know it's taken so long, I was looking at one months ago but was too afraid to be stuck with no warranty. Maybe this PSP fever will pass like it did months ago.

I was going to ask, can people from another country buy stuff only sold in another contries?
like can people from US buy stuff from Japan in Ebay and stuff? OR in this case people from Europe, can they buy PSP?

GT4 is not out and wont be out for a while yet. GTA sounds like its not going to be free roaming due to technical limitations (more just "free roaming" small areas during each mission thus the title "liberty city stories") shame really :(

It would be cool if the psp had a toch screen... pda like abilities.
You wouldnt buy a keyboard then, you's just write on the screen, which would help heaps for data input when using the psp on the net

folks if you plan on getting the psp - be sure to get ridge racer (car racing game).. it's definitely worth the money (the graphics on this game make the psp shine)

I upgraded to the 2.0 version of the firmware this weekend and the browser is ten-fold better than the wipeout pure hack.

yup but i just read that 2.0 is included in package on a separate demo disc...

ahh, you can always do the network update over a wifi network. you might as well, 1.52 doesnt offer any of the homebrew emulators anyway.
I had 1.51 but got tired of playing the emulator games, so I updated to 2.0. I have been using the browser a bit to read news sites from the couch.
