Anyone attend the animation part of this school? Any word if this school is good or bad?

DO NOT go there. Huge ripoff scam. Was on 60 Minutes recently. My ex-wife went there and is still in debt. She said that school was a joke.

i took a tour there, interested in the graphic design program, and it was just so fucking lame. the end of program project, the thing you're supposed to take away from it all is a portfolio on a cd. the guy showed me some examples of ones students made and they were just horrible. i had to really control myself to keep from laughing.
in fact, i had one of my own i had made just for the love of doing it, in my pocket. when i showed him mine his jaw just dropped and he mostly just stammered the rest of the interview
they made me pay 50 bucks just to talk to the guy and get the tour
the whole place is so ghetto, the student work is shit and the on campus dorms literally look just likea ghetto. the nasty smell of fried chicken and blaring rap music all the time
and you have to buy your own supplies
i said fuck to all of that and went with fidm instead, which has much higher prestige for the same price, is populated by the hottest girls in la, and they provide all your supplies
they do have a motion graphics major there, and some of the best teachers with AMAZING credentials.

its like 25 min. south of brooks on the same road (PCH) but in the wonderful world of laguna beach

Is the Brooks college in LA the affiliated with the Brooks college in Santa Barbara, which is supposed to be an amazing photography school.

what a shame that they have the same name then. or i think one is brooks college and one is brooks college of design.
If i were them i'd complain.

One is brooks college, and the other is Brooks Institute of Photograpy.

I went to Brooks and graduated top of my class, with a 4.0 and an Associates Science Degree in Multimedia. I feel ripped off though, I was sold a song and dance, signed up and was pretty disappointed in the state of the campus and the shoddy lab equipment that we had to use on a daily basis. I did well in class because I turned in work, something that most people didn't do. When I got a job out of my internship, I realized how much I thought I knew and how much I really knew were 2 different things. Plus I have a ton of money to pay towards student loans, but I love my job, so maybe something good came out of it.
