i took a tour there, interested in the graphic design program, and it was just so fucking lame. the end of program project, the thing you're supposed to take away from it all is a portfolio on a cd. the guy showed me some examples of ones students made and they were just horrible. i had to really control myself to keep from laughing.
in fact, i had one of my own i had made just for the love of doing it, in my pocket. when i showed him mine his jaw just dropped and he mostly just stammered the rest of the interview
they made me pay 50 bucks just to talk to the guy and get the tour
the whole place is so ghetto, the student work is shit and the on campus dorms literally look just likea ghetto. the nasty smell of fried chicken and blaring rap music all the time
and you have to buy your own supplies
i said fuck to all of that and went with fidm instead, which has much higher prestige for the same price, is populated by the hottest girls in la, and they provide all your supplies
they do have a motion graphics major there, and some of the best teachers with AMAZING credentials.
