Point..."pimping" beer is when you were a kid and tried to get an adult to buy beer for you.
When I was a junior in high school (16 or so) we promised some girls we would get some beer. We went to the local Mom and Pop market (Satellite Market in Orange) and waited for someone to ask. Some guy parked, and we told him we would give him a six pack if he bought us a case of beer.
He said "sure"...we gave him 20 bones and he walked into the store...15 minutes later we got wise and went in to look for him. The cashier said he bought a fifth of Jack Daniels and walked out the BACK DOOR. Bastard. We never saw him again...and the girls thought we were losers.

Ahhh, that's what pimpin booze is. We called it fishing here. Well, at least back in the day. You would fish for that one person that would finally buy liquor for you. We had a spot out here in Vegas up in North Las Vegas called Pat's Spot. If you were black, they would let you buy whatever beer/liquor you wanted, as long as you came in, got your shit, paid and left immediately. I never drank until I was 23, but all my boys had me as the designated driver in high school and we were at Pat's Spot every Fri and Sat night.
And fuck, this Wild Turkey's got me gone. lvl_13, I'm comin to your house tomorrow. I'm 5'11" and a jacked 245. I'm cool. Just let me kick it.

I think JB has been in MPLS for about 8 months now. He said it took some getting used to, being from Cali and all. But he digs it out there. His wife works for 3M...he does Flash and illustrations. He's a great guy...hook up with him, and tell him you're my amigo.
He also has a highly ranked podcast show too...check it out if your into that type of thing. That's him on the Mic.
