lots of options epill, travel vs day bags, soft, padded, rubberized ends fr durability,
but usually they have some aux pockets for gear and whatnot. dont forget the hidden secret scent-free stash pockets ;p

ky13...let me describe the design style i create...i design backpacks with myself in mind usually, i tend to go for more of teh hidden pkts than any other designer i know, hence my name i need places to hide or stash certain things, also connectivity with electronics plays a major role when i am designing any bags... function over fashion is how i approach any design, its the consumer i am most concerned with.
dakine offers an average and well constructed case with after time can break down, but the demographic consumer wont care as the faahion athetics drive that companies business over function.
i am currently researching the foollowing companies bags:
northface, dakine, clive, camelback, burton, eastpak, jansport, k2, eagle creek, kata bags, kipling, kelly, ogio, samsonite, sumdex, oakley, zuca, victorianox and the north face.

I'm only on for K2 since i bout my second board with them.
The best thing for bags wold be, at least for me, to be able to transport board on it, but also easily switch the board with hiking campons, & ropes...
I do a lot of expeditions, & the main problem with these bags is, they fit for casual activities, but if you go a bit too mush in the extreme.. they are rare, badly designed, & and not cool looking (not getting into cost)...

my friend has this stupid Nike bag that has a hunter orange inside. I really like the bright inside, it makes it easier to find stuff inside. All my bags are black inside and I can't find crap.
