Mac questions, almost newbie

Ok, i just got my brand new dual 2.7 G5 tonight. Iam not newbie really, i got a iBook.. but i still have questions about Mac.
1- Why the font are not cleartyped on Newstoday? they are everywhere else!
2- How do you uninstall a software on a mac ?? just by dropping his folder in the basket ?
3- Whats the best program to chat with friends who got MSN ? And if possible with a stealth mode integreated.
4- Is there any program to video-chat (webcams) with peoples on MSN ??

not sure about video chat to MSN peeps. iChat is nice for mac>mac, though.

There is no way, to video chat with MSN users on PC
You can tell then to install AIM for PC and you can video chat / audio chat using ichat.

In most cases yes, uninstall is just drop the folder in the trash. But you have software that comes with uninstall. What happens is that Macs have the application and all the pref and sets in diferent places. So you also maybe want to get way all the prefs of the application, then go to your Library>aplication Suport or/and
Library>preferences and delete all files related with the application you want to uninstall.Hope I helped

For that matter, you can already do voice chat through AIM / ICHAT with 10 times the number of people.
Why can't they make an MSN compatible video chat between mac and pc. !

I use Proteus for MSN, ICQ, AOL, Rendezvous, etc.
For the fonts, try going to your system preferences, select Appearance, and at the bottom there's the minimum font smoothing size.

NT looks like crap because they designed it that way- it has nothing to do with firefox.. either set your minimum font smoothing size in your preferences or simply "enlarge" the text in Firefox.

Yes to uninstall- drag and drop baby. No looking around for NIB34_A.lib files and all that PC crap... just drag and drop to the trash and be done with it. You can leave the preference files if you want- they won't hurt your system.
